I really like this concept, however I struggled to actually portray the idea effectively.

I felt this idea was a bit too aggressive, as it is not necessarily any one person's fault.

This was the idea I chose to continue with. I really like the humour of this image, mixed with a very important and serious message. I didn't end up including the people on either side in my final due to both time restrictions and technical issues, however I think that they would have helped elevate the final poster even more.

This is one of my first full page digital illustrations I have done. I utilised several royalty free brush packs I found online in order to add more visual interest to the image. One of my favourite things about this poster is the patterned bus seats, which resembles the patterned seats of Brisbane city busses. This personalised touch aids in engaging an audience. If I had more time I would have spent it on the lettering, as I feel it doesn't exactly fit the tone of the rest of the image.

I have never tried to incorporate collage into my art before, and being my first attempt I am not unhappy with how it went. Whilst I definitely prefer my first iteration, the collage does add a sense of whimsy to the message. If I could do this again, I would attempt to use traditional collaging techniques over digital.
